We recently completed the installation of a new hybrid heat pump water heater in a basement utility area. This project involved removing an older unit and installing a State ProLine XE model, ensuring efficient water heating for the home. The installation included all necessary plumbing and electrical connections. The new hybrid water heater was placed in a black drain pan on the concrete floor, adjacent to a cinder block wall. We connected copper piping with foam insulation and integrated a condensate pump and line. The electrical work included securing wiring within junction boxes and connecting to the unit, utilizing a flexible metal conduit. The visible plumbing includes copper and white PVC pipes supported by overhead wooden floor joists.
