We completed a comprehensive exterior renovation for this home in Newton, New Jersey. Our team performed a full roof replacement, transitioning the property from weathered slate and shingles to a modern asphalt system. We also addressed the home's energy efficiency by installing several new windows and updated the entry with a high-performance storm door. The roofing process involved stripping the existing materials down to the original rafters and installing new plywood decking for a solid foundation. We utilized GAF Timberline HDZ shingles over GAF FeltBuster underlayment to ensure long-term durability. Additionally, we installed a low-slope EPDM membrane on flat roof sections and integrated a vapor retarder system around the new window units.
