We completed an attic efficiency project focused on sealing and insulating access points within a residential space in Chattanooga. Our team fitted GreenGuard XPS insulation boards into sloped-ceiling doorways and installed a secure plywood access panel to improve thermal retention. By utilizing XPS insulation panels and custom-fitted wooden door frames, we created a tighter seal between the conditioned living areas and the attic storage space. We finished the installation with brass hardware and trim to ensure the access points remained functional while significantly reducing heat transfer.
