We completed an insulation and sealing project for an attic storage space to improve thermal efficiency. Our team focused on treating the kneewall access doors and sloped ceiling transitions to prevent heat transfer between the attic and the living areas. We installed GreenGuard XPS foam insulation boards directly onto the access doors and secured the panels within the existing frames. We also fitted custom plywood access panels and organized electrical routing to ensure the storage space remained functional and accessible. These upgrades help stabilize indoor temperatures and reduce energy loss through the home’s upper floor.
