We performed an energy-efficiency upgrade by insulating the attic knee wall access points in a Chattanooga home. Our team focused on sealing the storage area doorways located beneath the sloped ceilings to prevent thermal transfer. We installed GreenGuard XPS rigid foam insulation boards, custom-fitting the panels directly into the existing door frames. These moisture-resistant boards provide a continuous thermal barrier that helps stabilize indoor temperatures and reduce energy loss. This project ensures the attic remains functional for storage while significantly improving the home's overall insulation performance.
