We completed an attic weatherization project focused on improving thermal efficiency and temperature control in a finished storage and exercise space. Our team installed rigid foam insulation and sealed off knee wall access points to prevent air leakage from the attic into the living areas. We used GreenGuard XPS insulation boards to custom-fit existing door frames and installed a flush-mounted plywood panel for a durable finish. These upgrades, combined with the installation of a window-mounted cooling unit, helped regulate temperatures in the sloped-ceiling environment. The result is a more functional and energy-efficient attic space for the homeowners.
