We completed a comprehensive exterior installation for this mountain residence in Vail, focusing on long-term durability and snow management. Our team installed a steeply pitched roof using interlocking dark metal shingles designed to withstand high-altitude weather conditions. We also finished the exterior walls with a light-colored textured stucco and integrated a decorative stone veneer wainscot along the foundation level. To address heavy winter snowfall, we equipped the roof with silver snow guards and integrated heating cables along the valleys and gutter lines. We also installed a river rock drainage border and stone-lined window wells to protect the foundation from runoff. This project successfully combined functional de-icing technology with an aesthetic that complements the surrounding forested landscape.
