We completed a basement renovation in Wanamingo that transformed an unfinished storage area into a functional living space. The project involved preparing and painting the overhead joists in a dark finish to create an industrial aesthetic while maintaining ceiling height. We also updated the walls with vertical wood paneling and fresh paint over the existing masonry. For the flooring, we installed durable wood-look laminate throughout the main living and media areas. We updated the electrical layout and installed decorative string lighting and globe fixtures to enhance the room's ambiance. This update significantly improved the utility of the lower level for the homeowners.
