We documented substantial lint at the recessed dryer exhaust connection and lint removed at the roof termination. The transition duct was disconnected for access, allowing its interior and the main exhaust connection to be examined separately. The photographs show the appliance setup, accessible metal connector, roof hood and collected lint. Removing this combustible buildup helps reduce restriction in the path carrying warm, moisture-laden air outdoors.
