Dryer Vent Inspection & Lint Removal in Clermont
On October 8, 2026, Hygienic Air inspected the dryer exhaust connection, accessible foil transition duct and roof termination. Before-service photographs show clumped lint restricting the roof hood; after-service views document the same cavity open with the visible accumulation removed. The transition duct was disconnected for access and its interior visually checked. Removing lint at restriction points helps exhaust move freely. As a model-code reference, 2024 IRC M1502.3 requires a backdraft damper and prohibits screens at dryer exhaust terminations because screens can trap lint and restrict airflow. No screen was visible at this outlet. The documented outcome is removal of the visible roof-hood accumulation; no measured airflow test is shown.
