LA Power Washing Inc. completed this pool deck restoration project by removing the existing deteriorated paint and preparing the concrete for a new solid-color finish. The project included both the pool coping and surrounding stamped concrete surfaces. We first used professional concrete sandblasting to remove the old paint and coating from the pool deck. Sandblasting provided the surface preparation needed to expose and profile the concrete before applying the new coating system, especially in areas where the previous finish had become worn or flaky. After surface preparation and cleanup, we applied the appropriate primer followed by two coats of solid-color stain in the customer’s selected color. The new finish gave the pool deck a cleaner, more uniform appearance while completely transforming the surrounding concrete. This project demonstrates our complete process for pool deck paint removal, concrete sandblasting, surface preparation, and solid-color staining.
