LA Power Washing Inc. completed this interior sandblasting project in Los Angeles, CA to remove multiple layers of old paint from a wooden staircase. The existing coating was peeling and deteriorated, so the surface needed to be properly stripped before refinishing. We used controlled abrasive sandblasting to remove the old paint from the stair treads and other compatible wood surfaces while carefully working inside the property. Because this was an interior project, the surrounding walls, windows, and adjacent areas were protected before the blasting process began. The sandblasting exposed the underlying wood and prepared the staircase for the next stage of restoration and refinishing. This project demonstrates how interior sandblasting can be used for paint removal and surface preparation on compatible wood surfaces.
