We performed a comprehensive clay tile roof repair to address water intrusion that had caused visible staining on the interior garage ceiling. After removing the existing barrel tiles, we identified and replaced damaged plywood roof decking and addressed failing sealant along the roof-to-wall transitions. We reinforced the structural sections of the roof to ensure a stable and secure surface for the new waterproofing layers. To provide long-term protection, we installed TileSeal HT underlayment as a robust secondary water barrier before carefully reinstalling the terracotta tiles. The transition points were resealed with professional-grade mortar to prevent future leaks. This project successfully restored the home's exterior envelope and stopped further moisture damage to the interior living space.
