We completed a full roof replacement on this brick ranch-style home in Rochester, Illinois. Our team began by removing the existing worn asphalt shingles and inspecting the underlying structure for damage. We identified and replaced deteriorated sections of the plywood and OSB decking to ensure a solid foundation for the new roofing system. For superior protection, we installed CertainTeed DiamondDeck synthetic underlayment before laying the new North Gate Climate Flex shingles. We replaced outdated turbine vents with a modern ridge vent system and installed new plumbing boots to ensure a watertight seal.
