After a garage fire damaged the roof structure of this recently remodeled home, our team partnered with Cooler Green Solutions to fully restore it. Because the interior had a level-five drywall finish, tearing out from below wasn't the right call — so we tore off the roof to give their team access to scrape out the affected spray foam, treated the area, and then rebuilt from there once it was recoated. While we had the roof open, we knocked out a full list of repairs: corrected chimney flashing from the original build, addressed flat roof drainage issues, resolved existing leaks, reframed sections of the roof deck, fabricated custom flashing details, and installed a new modified bitumen roofing system along with new stucco work. For the finish, Austin chose IKO's matte black shingle — genuinely one of the darkest options on the market, and it turned out sharp against the rest of the exterior. Solomon got some great drone footage of the crew in action, flying right over the roofline past the Cooler Green Solutions trailer and our Action truck.
