Residential Roof Replacement using GAF - HDZ - Cedar Falls
Storm damage isn’t always obvious right away — and this project in Georgetown at the Sun City Retirement Community is a perfect example. About a year ago, the homeowner called us out for a roof inspection after a storm, but at that time there was no damage. Fast forward to the next round of storms, and this time we found legitimate hail damage that couldn’t be ignored. Terek, their project manager, helped guide the process from start to finish. The insurance carrier initially wanted to patch a few areas, but after a thorough inspection and proper documentation, we advocated for what was truly best for the homeowner — a full roof replacement instead of temporary repairs. Our team met with the adjuster and made sure all storm-related damage was properly included in the final scope. The biggest challenge was getting the insurance company to move from partial repairs to doing it right the first time. In the end, the homeowner received a brand-new roof and the peace of mind that their home was fully restored, no mismatched shingles or future headaches!
