We performed a detailed restoration and repair of several floating boat dock systems in New Florence. Our crew focused on replacing individual decayed boards and reinforcing the galvanized steel frames and metal trusses. We systematically addressed structural weaknesses across multiple interconnected sections to ensure a stable walking surface over the water. We installed new pressure-treated lumber and cedar-toned planks, finishing the wood with a protective reddish-brown stain for enhanced weather resistance. The scope included securing metal cleats, mounting hardware, and inspecting the flotation barrels beneath the frame. The final result provides a durable and refreshed docking area suitable for heavy waterfront use.
