We performed a full roof replacement on this single-story residence in St. Louis to address extensive storm-related damage. Our crew began by stripping the existing asphalt shingles and inspecting the wooden decking for structural integrity. We identified and repaired several sections of weathered sheathing to provide a solid foundation for the new roofing system. We installed GAF FeltBuster synthetic underlayment for superior moisture protection followed by GAF Timberline HDZ shingles. To ensure proper attic ventilation, we also replaced the roof vents and finished the installation with matching ridge caps. This comprehensive upgrade significantly improves the home's durability and exterior aesthetic.
