We completed a full residential roof replacement on this single-story brick home in Affton. Our team performed a complete tear-off of the existing damaged asphalt shingles to inspect the structural integrity of the roof deck. We identified and replaced several sections of weathered and stained plywood sheathing with new oriented strand board panels to ensure a solid foundation for the new system. For the installation, we utilized high-performance Owens Corning Duration Designer shingles in a combination of Black Sable and Oolong tones. The project incorporated RhinoRoof underlayment and ProEdge hip and ridge shingles to enhance weather resistance and durability across the entire roof surface. This comprehensive upgrade provided the home with a reliable, long-lasting roofing system that improved both functional protection and curb appeal.
