48 Foundation Crack Injections & Allied Shield Water Defense Installation
Our team performed 48 foundation crack injections to permanently seal and waterproof the concrete wall, eliminating water intrusion and reinforcing structural stability. Each crack was prepped, fitted with epoxy ports, and injected with high-velocity polyurethane for a flexible, watertight seal and long-term protection. To provide full perimeter defense, we installed the Allied Shield Water Defense (Top Drain) System, specifically engineered for cinderblock foundations. This system relieves hydrostatic pressure by draining trapped water from within the cinderblocks, preventing stress and saturation behind the wall. Installation Process: Concrete Removal: Excavate and remove concrete along the wall and floor near the cove to prepare for drainage installation. Weep Hole Drilling: Drill weep holes into cinderblock cores to release trapped water and reduce pressure buildup. Top Drain Installation: Install the Top Drain along the wall-to-floor joint to capture and redirect water to a safe discharge point. Clean-Out Integration: Add clean-outs for easy access and maintenance. Concrete Restoration: Re-pour concrete for a clean, finished appearance. For additional moisture protection, we installed the Allied Basic Shield Defense – 10 Mil Woven White Liner, a durable vapor barrier that seals out dampness, soil gases, and mold risk. This liner was installed across the crawl space floor and up the foundation walls, maintaining a 4-inch separation from the sill plate for ventilation and code compliance.
