AES Prseby Mound System Installation using IM 1060 Plastic Tank
4” Building Sewer Install We began by excavating from the east side of the driveway to expose the existing 4” building sewer. Our crew then excavated approximately 50 feet through the driveway, installing a new 4” building drain embedded in ¾” stone for stability and proper drainage. This new line is tied into a new 1000-gallon septic tank, ensuring a smooth, functional system connection. IM 1060 Gallon Plastic Septic Tank Installation To upgrade the property's septic system, we removed the existing tank by pumping, collapsing, and filling it. We then excavated a new area based on the grade of the building drain and installed a 1060-gallon Infiltrator plastic tank. The tank is set on 4 inches of CA-7 stone with a 24” riser to grade (±3 inches) for easy access and future maintenance. Connection & Drainage Connected the building drain to the tank using 4" Schedule 40 PVC with a two-way cleanout and a shear-proof Fernco adapter for a secure connection. Installed 4” SCH 40 outlet piping leading to the drain field, ensuring proper pitch and grading to meet health department standards. Backfilled the area using excavated soil, leaving a mound for natural settling. 540-Gallon Lift Station Installation Included in this project was the installation of a 540-gallon lift station for efficient wastewater transfer to the septic field. AES Presby Mound System Installation We also installed an AES Presby Mound System engineered for a 3-bedroom home, providing advanced treatment and reliable performance even in challenging soil conditions.
