2-3000 gallon tanks, 2 lift-station systems. 783 feet of sewer. One complete wastewater solution. When Sunrise Greenhouse needed a complete wastewater system for a new commercial building, Allied Water Services installed the infrastructure needed to collect, move, and treat wastewater across the property. The project centered around an Advanced Enviro-Septic® mound system, a passive aerobic treatment system designed for properties with poor soil permeability and elevated seasonal water tables. The system promotes beneficial aerobic bacteria to improve wastewater treatment while minimizing mechanical components within the treatment field. Project Scope - Two 3,000-gallon concrete septic tanks - Two lift stations - Advanced Enviro-Septic® mound treatment system - 783 feet of new 4-inch Schedule 40 PVC sewer - Additional dual-pump lift station serving the south service run - Effluent pumps and sealed access risers - Exterior alarm panels and high-water alarms - Electrical conduit and wiring for lift-station equipment - Cleanouts and stone pipe bedding - Site excavation, backfill, grading, and cleanup The septic tanks and lift stations provided the capacity and pumping infrastructure required for the new commercial facility. Because gravity alone could not reliably move wastewater throughout the property, the lift-station systems were used to move effluent across the site while incorporating pumps, high-water alarms, exterior controls, and sealed access risers. Allied Water Services also installed 783 feet of 4-inch Schedule 40 PVC sewer, including stone bedding, cleanout access, testing, and backfilling. A separate dual-pump lift station, including the structure, pumps, and controls, was installed to serve the south service run. The Result The completed project gave Sunrise Greenhouse a comprehensive wastewater collection, pumping, and treatment system built around the property's site conditions and operational needs. From excavation and underground sewer installation to septic tanks, lift stations, electrical controls, and advanced treatment, Allied Water Services managed the major wastewater infrastructure components from the ground up.
