We performed a complete residential roof replacement on this home in Richland. The project involved a full tear-off of the existing materials and the replacement of 16 sheets of damaged roof sheathing to ensure a solid structural foundation. We then installed a high-performance synthetic underlayment across the entire deck to provide a secondary layer of moisture protection. For the finish layer, we installed gray architectural asphalt shingles, providing both durability and a refreshed aesthetic. We updated all roof penetrations, including new plumbing vent pipe boots and black box vents, which we meticulously sealed with heavy-duty roofing mastic. The final result is a weather-tight roofing system designed to withstand the local climate while improving the home's ventilation.
