We completed a comprehensive residential roofing project in Lewiston that began with a detailed inspection of the existing structure. Our team performed a full tear-off of the aged asphalt shingles, addressing significant debris accumulation and moss growth that had compromised the roof's integrity. We focused on restoring the home’s exterior while ensuring the primary structure was sound before proceeding with new materials. During the process, we repaired damaged sections of the roof deck with new plywood sheathing to provide a stable foundation. We installed CertainTeed RoofRunner synthetic underlayment and Grace Ice and Water Shield to provide superior moisture protection, particularly around the stone chimney and roof valleys. The project was finished with high-performance architectural asphalt shingles and Owens Corning VentSure ridge vents to improve attic ventilation and long-term durability.
