Alpine Roofing recently completed a single-ply re-roof on North Roosevelt Street in Kennewick, Washington. The project featured a mechanically attached 60-mil white TPO membrane system installed over a ½” ISO insulation board, which added an R-value of 2.5. The existing membrane was retained with relief cuts made every 10 feet to accommodate expansion and movement. New TPO membrane accessories were installed, and service pads were added at RTU equipment, positioned for easy filter access. To ensure proper drainage, crickets were installed behind all curbs, and the top flanges of roof drains were removed and reset to guarantee a watertight seal. The existing coping was reused thanks to a two-piece reglet system already in place.
