We had to glue most of this floor down because the subfloor had been leveled with a self-leveling compound and we could not nail it down. We made a custom boarder from walnut and maple in the foyer and the stitting room. We sanded and finished everything with an ambering water-based finish to recreate that classic look of polyurethane.
