Full Exterior Refresh with Carpentry Repairs and VinylSafe® Protection
This exterior project focused on a full refresh that combined both painting and targeted carpentry repairs to restore the home’s durability and curb appeal. Our team applied two full coats of Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint across all exterior surfaces, including the siding, soffits, fascia, gables, chimney, garage doors and frames, front porch ceiling and columns, and the rear entry door. For the siding, we used a low luster/satin finish to provide a smooth, uniform look with added durability against the elements. All trim, doors, windows, and fascia were finished with a gloss sheen, creating subtle contrast while delivering enhanced protection in high-exposure areas. A key component of this project was the carpentry work completed on the rear chimney, where we removed and replaced approximately 50 linear feet of deteriorated corner boards. This step was essential to ensure a stable and long-lasting surface prior to painting, reinforcing the overall integrity of the structure. Special care was taken with the home’s vinyl components. The soffits, fascia, and gables were coated using Sherwin-Williams SuperPaint with VinylSafe® approved colors, which are specifically formulated to minimize heat absorption and reduce the risk of warping or distortion. This allowed us to safely update the color while protecting the material. The result is a clean, cohesive exterior transformation that not only enhances the home’s appearance but also strengthens its protection against weather, moisture, and long-term wear.
