We recently completed a full residential roof replacement on this beautiful multi-level home near Sulphur. Our team began by removing the existing roofing system down to the plywood decking so we could inspect the structure and provide a solid foundation for the new roof system. Because this home features multiple roof levels and several complex transitions where roof lines meet brick and siding, attention to detail was critical. To provide long-term protection against moisture intrusion, we installed GAF WeatherWatch leak barriers in vulnerable areas along with GAF FeltBuster synthetic underlayment before installing the new roofing system. This project also received a Class 4 impact-resistant roofing system designed to provide enhanced durability against hail and severe weather conditions. By utilizing a complete GAF roofing system with GAF accessories throughout the project where applicable, this homeowner also qualifies for GAF’s WindProven limited wind warranty, which provides coverage with no maximum wind speed limitation when installed according to GAF requirements. We also replaced plumbing flashings, updated wall transition flashing, and installed new roof ventilation components to help improve attic airflow and overall system performance. Throughout the project, we took extra care to protect the surrounding landscaping using heavy-duty tarps and maintained a clean, organized job site from start to finish.
