We transformed this outdated bathtub into a sleek, modern walk-in shower, creating a more open and functional space for the homeowner. The new shower features a low-profile white shower base paired with Calcutta Marble wall panels extended all the way to the ceiling, giving the bathroom a bright, elegant look with the beauty of marble and none of the grout maintenance. A frameless pivot glass door enhances the open feel of the room while showcasing the stunning wall design. Chrome fixtures include a luxurious rainfall showerhead, a handheld sprayer on an adjustable slide bar for added versatility, and a coordinating pressure-balanced valve. To improve comfort and accessibility, we also installed a grab bar and a convenient footrest for easier shaving and bathing. This tub-to-shower conversion delivers a timeless, spa-inspired aesthetic while providing a safer, more spacious shower that's easier to clean and built to last.
