This cute little cabin in the woods near the "Big Tree" and Goose Island in Rockport Texas is just steps away from the water. They loved the location, but the cabin needed some work. We completely changed the layout. Removed walls on the interior, moved windows and doors and made the flow and layout work for our customer. We gave all new Impact glass hurricane windows throughout. New entry doors. All new Hardie siding built on our custom insulated rain screen to make the entire home energy efficient. We removed all the old, smelly, insulation and installed 13" of blown in with an R-30 factor to keep them cool in our South Texas heat. We topped the entire project off with a brand new "Bullet-Proof" roof. This place looks good. Inside and Out!
