Let My Attic Breathe!!!!!

This beautiful Rockport Texas home had some significant ventilation issues in the attic. After installing all new insulation in the attic it was still wet all the time. Bayfront was called out to asses the situation. We noticed right away that the previous roofer had made a fatal ventilation flaw. The mixed exhaust vents on the roof and they placed them incorrectly. This is actually a common issue that we find when called for high humidity in the attic. Incorrectly most roofers believe "the more the better". Not True! They must be the correct type of vent placed in the correct location working in conjunction with the correct intake vents. So we removed all the existing vents and installed two Lamanco Whirly Bird vents. These things really SUCK (air) and have a lifetime warranty. This in conjunction with opening all the soffit vents up that had been covered by the previous insulation company. Now this attic is taking deep breaths and all the moisture and humidity is gone!
