GSHA Services, LTD diagnosed and repaired a central air conditioning system that was not cooling at a home on Mayer Avenue in Wheeling, IL. Our HVAC technician inspected the indoor furnace and evaporator coil with a thermal imaging camera to check airflow and coil temperatures, tested the blower and control board, then moved outside to the condensing unit where the run capacitor tested weak under load. We replaced the failed capacitor with a new OEM-rated part, checked the contactor and wiring, measured refrigerant pressures and the supply-return temperature split, and verified the system was cooling properly before we left. Same-day AC repair during a July heat wave keeps the home comfortable and prevents a small electrical part from turning into a compressor replacement. GSHA Services provides air conditioning repair, AC maintenance and tune-ups, furnace and heat pump service, ductless mini-split installation and full HVAC replacement in Wheeling, Buffalo Grove, Prospect Heights, Arlington Heights, Northbrook, Mount Prospect and throughout Cook County and Lake County, Illinois.
