GSHA Services, LTD completed a full attic ductwork reconstruction for a homeowner in Woodstock, IL. The original attic duct system was undersized, crushed, and leaking, causing weak airflow and uneven temperatures throughout the house. Our team removed the old ductwork, designed and installed a new properly sized trunk-and-branch system using R-8 insulated duct, sealed every joint and boot with mastic, and then sealed the entire system from the inside with Aeroseal duct sealing technology. The Aeroseal process injects a safe, water-based sealant into the pressurized ductwork, closing leaks up to 5/8 inch wide and delivering a verified before-and-after leakage report for the homeowner. The result is stronger airflow to every register, lower heating and cooling bills, better indoor air quality, and a more comfortable home year-round. GSHA Services, LTD is a certified Aeroseal dealer providing ductwork replacement, duct insulation, Aeroseal duct sealing, and HVAC repair in Woodstock, Crystal Lake, McHenry, Cary, Huntley, Marengo, Harvard, Bull Valley, and throughout McHenry County, IL.
