GSHA Services, LTD installed a KOHLER 26RCA whole-house air-cooled standby generator with a KOHLER RXT-JFNC-200ASE 200-amp automatic transfer switch at a home on West Shankiln Court in Libertyville, IL. Our licensed electricians trenched and ran 1-1/4 inch EMT conduit from the meter to the generator pad, set the unit on a level composite base beside the air conditioning condensers, pulled new service conductors, installed the whole-house transfer switch next to the ComEd meter, terminated and torqued every lug in the main panel, and coordinated the gas line and permit inspection. The generator was started, load-tested and set on a weekly exercise schedule, and the homeowner was walked through the OnCue monitoring app. When storms knock out power, the system transfers automatically in seconds and runs the whole house including the furnace, sump pump and well pump. GSHA Services is an authorized KOHLER and Generac dealer providing standby generator installation, maintenance and repair, plus electrical, HVAC and plumbing services in Libertyville, Mundelein, Vernon Hills, Green Oaks, Grayslake, Lake Forest and throughout Lake County, Illinois.
