GSHA Services, LTD installed a KOHLER 26RCA air-cooled whole-house standby generator with a 200-amp automatic transfer switch at a home on Deepwood Road in Barrington, IL. This Ultimate Power Bundle covers the entire house: our licensed electricians set the generator on a composite pad, ran the gas line and 1-1/4 inch EMT conduit with new service conductors, installed the KOHLER RXT-JFNC-200ASE whole-house transfer switch beside the meter, terminated and torqued every connection, then started, load-tested and commissioned the unit and connected it to the KOHLER OnCue app so the homeowner can monitor status, battery voltage and exercise history from their phone. Permits were pulled and the work passed inspection. When ComEd power fails, the generator starts automatically in seconds and runs the furnace, sump pump, well pump, refrigerator and lights until utility power returns. GSHA Services is an authorized KOHLER and Generac generator dealer providing standby generator installation, maintenance plans and repair, plus electrical, HVAC and plumbing services in Barrington, North Barrington, South Barrington, Lake Barrington, Inverness, Palatine, Deer Park and throughout Lake County and Cook County, Illinois.
