GSHA Services, LTD installed a high-efficiency Lennox dual-fuel heating and cooling system for a homeowner in Aurora, IL. The new system pairs a Lennox Elite EL297V two-stage variable-speed gas furnace (model EL297UH090XV48C, 97% AFUE) with a Lennox Elite EL18KSLV 5-ton variable-capacity heat pump and a matching CK40 cased coil, controlled by a Dave Lennox Signature S40 smart thermostat with an equipment interface module. The heat pump handles mild-weather heating and summer cooling at a fraction of the cost, and the gas furnace takes over automatically on the coldest Illinois nights. Our crew fabricated new sheet-metal transitions, ran new PVC venting and condensate lines, set the heat pump on a new pad with a fresh line set and disconnect, and commissioned the system. Looking for heat pump installation, furnace replacement, or a dual-fuel HVAC upgrade in Aurora, Naperville, Oswego, or Kane County? GSHA Services is a Lennox dealer serving Chicago's western suburbs.
