GSHA Services, LTD completed a full HVAC comfort system replacement for a homeowner in the Edgewater neighborhood of Chicago, IL. Our Lennox-certified technicians installed a Lennox SL280V variable-speed gas furnace (SL280UH090V36B) paired with a Lennox EL21KLV-036 cold-climate heat pump and CK40CT evaporator coil, creating a dual-fuel system that delivers efficient electric heating and cooling with gas backup for the coldest Chicago winter days. The system is controlled by a Lennox S40 smart thermostat, and we added a Lennox HCWP3-18 whole-home humidifier for balanced winter humidity. To maximize the performance of the new equipment, we performed a complete air duct cleaning with our Nikro HEPA system, cleaned the dryer vent, and sealed the ductwork from the inside with Aeroseal duct sealing, dramatically reducing leakage and improving airflow to every room. GSHA Services, LTD provides furnace installation, heat pump installation, Aeroseal duct sealing, and air duct cleaning in Chicago, Edgewater, Andersonville, Rogers Park, Uptown, Evanston, Skokie, and across Cook County, IL.
