GSHA Services, LTD installed a complete high-efficiency Lennox comfort system at a home on Denali Court in South Barrington, IL. The job included a Lennox Elite EL297V variable-capacity 97% AFUE gas furnace, a matched Lennox CK40CT evaporator coil, a Lennox Elite EL21KLV variable-speed heat pump for efficient year-round heating and cooling, and an AprilAire whole-house humidifier. Our installers removed the old equipment, set and vented the new furnace, brazed and vacuum-tested the refrigerant line set, mounted the heat pump on a level pad, wired the disconnect and low-voltage controls, installed the humidifier with a bypass damper and humidistat, and commissioned the system with measured gas pressure, temperature rise and static pressure. A Lennox heat pump paired with a modulating furnace gives Chicago-area homeowners electric efficiency in mild weather and reliable gas heat in deep winter, and qualifies for federal tax credits and utility rebates. GSHA Services is a Lennox and Carrier dealer providing furnace, heat pump and air conditioner installation, HVAC maintenance and repair, plumbing and electrical services in South Barrington, Barrington, Inverness, Hoffman Estates, Palatine, Schaumburg and throughout Cook County, Illinois.
