Commercial roofing overlay using GAF TPO over an old ballast roof

This was a bad looking roof when we first met. We fixed many leaks during to find more in different areas on this roof. We got to test out some state of the art silicone before putting a nice new whit tpo membrane over the old roofing. We did this on this property to save the money of cost to bring the building to current building codes when building the new roofing system. When the old roofing system is not holding water in between the system and the interior and there is only one roofing system installed, you can perform repairs to the roofing system, clean the system and prep it for an overlay. This saved the building owner approximately 40% compared to the cost of tearing the roof to the deck and bringing it up to current building codes. This also saves time and money on labor cost and keeps less materials in our landfills for the life of this overlay.
