We completed a comprehensive residential roof replacement for this home in El Paso, starting with a full tear-off of the old, materials. There were shingles on the low slope which is a no no. During the process, we identified and repaired several sections of damaged plywood and installed new OSB sheathing to ensure a solid structural foundation. We then applied TopShield SG-30 synthetic underlayment to provide an advanced moisture barrier across the entire surface. Our team installed high-quality charcoal architectural shingles on the sloped sections and a specialized light-grey rolled membrane on the flat roof areas near the chimney and HVAC units. This multi-material approach restored the roof's integrity and significantly enhanced the property's weather resistance.
