This Huntsville homeowner loved their porch, but excessive heat had made it unusable for much of the day. We installed a single exterior solar screen designed to reduce heat and improve comfort while maintaining the open feel of the screened-in porch. The tan fabric gives the space a clean, natural look, and the manual gear crank makes it easy to raise and lower as needed. Cable guides were also added to keep the screen stable and minimize buffeting.
