We responded to an emergency call in Abington after a vehicle struck a single-story residence, causing severe structural damage to the front facade and entry area. Our team arrived at night to secure the site with tower lights to perform an immediate assessment of the compromised framing. We cleared scattered debris and splintered building materials to expose the damaged Area for temporary stabilization and Board Up. To Stabilize the Structure we framed a temporary wall from 2"x6"'s, closed on opening with plywood and Covered with house wrap to protect the home’s interior from the elements. We also secured the property by installing lockboxes on the entry doors. These measures successfully stabilized the structure and prevented further damage while the owners prepared for permanent repairs.
