We responded to a residential property in Gloucester to provide emergency board-up services. We secured a window opening that the wind took the window Sash from the opening on the second floor. To protect the interior from the coastal elements, Our team used plywood secured with 2x4"s and carriage using the through bolt method ( to minimize damage to structure) to ensure a tight, weather-resistant seal. We also applied zip Tape to keep the rain from leaking in around the bolt heads. These measures provided immediate security and stabilized the building envelope until permanent window replacements could be installed.
