With the claim approved, she was able to move forward with a new roof and full gutter system, covered by insurance proceeds. We installed Owens Corning Duration shingles in Estate Gray, a laminated architectural shingle built for strength and long-term performance. Duration shingles are known for their SureNail® Technology, giving them a reinforced nailing zone and up to 130 MPH wind resistance. While the shingle carries an Impact Rating of 3, it still offers solid protection against moderate hail and strong winds—making it a reliable option for Florida’s storm-prone seasons.
