Brehm Roofing & Restoration recently completed a full roof replacement on an older home with extensive wood damage throughout the roof structure. During the project, our crew replaced 8 sheets of plywood and made widespread fascia and structural wood repairs, reinforcing the integrity of the entire roof system. The homeowner selected CertainTeed Landmark shingles in Cobblestone Gray, a laminated architectural shingle built for long-term performance. Landmark shingles feature dual-layer construction, Class A fire resistance, algae protection, and a 110 MPH wind warranty (upgradeable to 130 MPH with enhanced installation). The Cobblestone Gray color offered a clean, neutral finish that pairs well with a wide range of exterior styles. This home also had a low-slope section that required a separate flat roofing system. Our team installed a two-ply self-adhered system using CertainTeed Flintastic SA Base and Cap Sheets. This system provides superior waterproofing for flat roof areas, especially in Florida’s heat and moisture-prone environment.
