This project begins with Building A, the first of several buildings scheduled for roof replacement. Once confirmed, the homeowner requested to proceed with GAF material orders for the remaining structures. For Building A, we installed OC Duration Shingles in Midnight Plum, covering 68 squares. The Midnight Plum color is a unique option that enhances curb appeal while maintaining durability under Florida’s challenging climate. With algae resistance, wind resistance, and a proven lifespan, these shingles are designed to withstand Gainesville’s sun, humidity, and seasonal storms. Choosing architectural shingles like these adds value and long-term performance, protecting against water intrusion and weather-related damage. The system included a clean white drip edge and matching components to ensure the entire installation is balanced and watertight. As additional buildings on the property are addressed in the future, the uniform look will tie the entire project together, increasing both property value and aesthetic consistency. This first phase demonstrates how high-quality materials, paired with attention to detail, result in a roof that is both resilient and visually striking.
