Boutique Goodwill – Westmoreland neighborhood, Portland
When the Goodwill - Boutique in Westmoreland approached us, their stunning floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall windows were both a beautiful feature and a daily challenge. Intense sunlight created significant glare for shoppers and employees while also causing fading and damage to merchandise. Our solution: Lutron automated roller shades designed for seamless light control without compromising the open, airy aesthetic of the space. With the push of a button, employees can instantly adjust the shades to reduce glare and protect clothing. The system is also fully integrated with app-based control and programmed scheduling—allowing the shades to automatically raise and lower throughout the day based on sunlight and store hours. The result is a retail environment that is more comfortable, energy-efficient, and protective of inventory—without sacrificing design. Automation at its finest, and a project we were truly excited to bring to life.
