Indoor Environmental testing for a commercial complex due to poor construction and negative air pressure in the building
On this project we were performing mold testing for a restaurant due to visible mold growth on ceiling tiles and drywall. The employees were complaining of a strong malodor and not feeling well after completing their shifts in the restaurant. The complex is of newer construction and these type of issues were unexpected by all parties. Poor construction practices were a major part of the mold issues inside of the restaurant and on the drywall for the two vacant units on each side of the restaurant. New Construction does not always mean better construction.
