We recently completed a high-performance polyurea flake floor coating in a basement in Muskegon, transforming the space into a clean, durable, and moisture-resistant surface. Scope of Work This project included full mechanical prep of the concrete followed by installation of a multi-layer polyurea / polyaspartic flake system designed for long-term durability and fast cure times. Process Completed: Diamond grinding to achieve proper concrete surface profile (CSP) Surface repairs to address minor imperfections Application of a polyurea base coat Full broadcast of decorative vinyl flake for texture and coverage Sealed with a UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat for maximum protection This system creates a seamless, non-porous floor that is highly resistant to moisture, stains, and wear—making it ideal for basement environments. The finished floor not only looks sharp but also makes the space easier to clean, brighter, and more functional for everyday use.
