Jessica came to us through her mom, Nancy, whose roof we replaced a while back. Nancy found us through Jackie, a longtime customer who has trusted us with her roof twice. A lot of our work comes in this way, and we don't take it for granted. Jessica's home was under contract and in the option period, and the sale needed a new roof to keep moving. Our first proposal came in higher than she had planned, so we went back through the scope with her. A few items that weren't a priority for her came out, and the buyers chose to cover an upgrade to a GAF Timberline UHDZ roofing system with the GAF Golden Pledge warranty. UHDZ is GAF's premium Timberline shingle. It's built on a heavier UltraMat fiberglass core that earns a UL 2218 Class 4 impact rating, and its Dual Shadow Line gives the roof a lot of depth from the street. With a closing date on the calendar, we adjusted our schedule, worked through the weekend, and finished the install in two days. The property is heavily landscaped, so we set up our Action Armor catch-all system to protect the beds, contain debris, and leave the site clean. Jacob Smola managed the project from start to finish. Jessica was happy with how it turned out, and her Austin home stayed on track to close.
